a BIRTHDAY is better

so yesterday was mine and J.D.'s 26th Birthday! yeah! i love my birthday...it's the best day of the year. i love that people recognize you, call you, make you a cake, treat you a little bit nicer, and spoil you. yesterday was just one of those days.

1st. glen came to my office and brought my favorite "fiesta guadalajara" for lunch. we ate together and it was really good and fun to eat lunch with him.
2nd. glen let me open one of my presents..which were a pair of shoes...that i've been wanting. slip-ons, so i don't have to tie the laces and be outta breath.
3rd. glen bought me an ice cream cake roll (my absolute favorite) from baskin robins. i love ice cream cake.
4th. we went to mom and dad's house for dinner. shrimp, twice baked potatoes, salad, and rolls. so so good.
5th. glen told us that while he was helping our neighbor get ready for his bull sale, he forgot to take the ice cream roll out of the back of the pickup and put in our freezer....and so our neighbors dogs had some really good ice cream cake for their dinner!!! lucky dogs!
6th. mom made me a different birthday cake that was just as good. chocolate cake with chocolate pudding and whipped cream on the top. thanks mom!

7th. glen let me open his other gift...he got me a really cute pair of after-pregnancy jeans. 20x brand that aren't at all cowgirl looking...very cute..just a cowgirl brand.
and 8th. mom and dad and the girls got me the coolest gift. i've been wanting to go get maternity photos done with glen. so mom got me a maternity session and a newborn session with Jean Mazac of Adrian, OR. she took Ryann's senior pictures and did an excellent job. her website is http://www.doubletakeportraits.com/ ....you should check her out. (in fact some of ryann's senior pictures are on her site, she's the cute small one, with long brown hair!!) so i'm super excited to go and get our pics done....

so it was a wonderful day that i had....thank you to everyone who called me yesterday to wish me a happy birthday...it was very thoughtful. thanks again and have a great week!
