a little bit rounder.

as the days are going by and i'm becoming a bit rounder, i'm beginning to wonder what was it that i was thinking. i'm so happy to be able to have another boy in our family but the process to get him here is rather a difficult one. excuse me a bit while i complain just a sec...so my stomach is so big & stretched it hurts...all the time. i'm getting punched in the hips as i type and kicked in the ribs like 23.5 hours a day. my belly button (please hang on little buddy) is so stretched out and ugly that i do believe i almost throw up every time i see it in the mirror when i'm getting dressed. nothing fits me except for glen's t-shirts & sweat pants....and then i look like a fat pregnant white trash house wife. my cute sweaters bulge at every button hole and my cute pregnant jeans cut off my circulation. yes it's getting down to the wire and i'm ready for this little boy to make his entrance so i can have my guts back, and my rib cage to myself, and my belly button back to a normal size and back to a cute outty!!!! okay so i'm done complaining and now i'll end with something positive. although i'm very uncomfortable and huge as a house, i'm happy to be adding another guy to our little family. i know it will be a great time.
not a glammor shot but you'll get the picture with the rounding belly.

but on the side of things, life is going great. we finished up a remodel job in the house we're living at. we fixed up the master bathroom and we're very pleased with it. it's a nicer trailer house that we live in and the master bath was actually pretty nice with a jetted big tub and everything. but why do people choose to put carpet in a bathroom, and carpet all up the sides of your jetted tub. it's a nasty trap for mold and mildew and believe me when i say, we saw the nasty trap when we removed the carpet. also why oh why to trailer houses have permanent wall papered walls...not necessarily wall paper but they are like walls that have drawings on them. in our case we got the privilege of having flowers stamped all over our bathroom walls (and we're still dealing with them in our bedroom...lovely i tell ya, just lovely) anyways we gutted the carpet, put in vinyl, painted all the walls and now it's a luxury. still not a HOME bathroom, but for a trailer house built in the late 80's early 90's it's a pretty posh bathroom. i don't have any new rugs or towels to decorate with, so what we have is going to have to work until i do.
the BEFORE bathroom with it's flower walls and carpet glory.

gutting the carpet surrounding the tub.

the glamours AFTER

look at that tub.

vince is growing up too fast and it now already acting like a crazed terrible two monster. it's like having a 14 year old girl living with us. he wants some water, you give him water, but then he screams and throws the water on the floor...not that water you idiot (i'm sure he's thinking). some of his newest words/phrases are:
"peep a boo" (peek a boo)
"bab boy" (bad boy...this he learned after he poured his cold cereal all over the floor...i taught him)
"lo lo" (cousin lorien's nick name)
"rado" (colorado...he was asking where ryann and christian (my sister and her husband) were, and i told him they live in colorado....he said "rado?" with his hands in the air)
"tookie" (cookie...he sees the box of baking soda in my fridge and it has a little tiny chocolate chip cookie on it...every time i open the fridge he runs to it and says "tookie" i now know why every time we're at my mom's house he eats her baking soda...he it's cookies!!!)
"ito" (burrito...glen loves safeway burritos. the other night i got him a few and vince enjoyed one with him.)

enjoying a warmer day outside.

loving burritos with dad.

so that's that. we'll update when there's something to tell. until then go get a safeway burrito. they're packed full of fat and oil and beans and meat. and they're good.

I think the bathroom looks pretty posh, can't wait to see what you do to the bedroom. Good luck with number 2. It was way better for me, Addy=1 and 1/2 hours of pushing... Liam= 15 minutes of pushing it was great. Of course me being smarter got my epidural at 6 instead of a 9 so that was better too. So have hope though he looks like he sure is stretching you out.

Greatjob on the bathroom Glen! (I'm assuming, seeing the state Denise is in, that you did most of the work? I could be wrong knowing Denise, though). Denise, you look fabulous. I looked like that at 4 months, and then just gained like 45 pounds in my face and butt. You are so dang cute. Can't wait to see the new nephew!!
