my CRAFT space.

*(there's lot's of writing at the first here...i totally won't be offended if you skip to the pictures, and don't read my ramblings!)*

so my awesome friend AMY was in town visiting her mama.  well she is a total go getter and she totally went to work for me.  i helped her a little.  she did most of the work.  we built a small table out of barn wood to go on my front porch.  (i forgot to upload a picture...i'll do it when i have some cute decorations on it)
but we also made a cubby for my fabric.  LOVE IT!  it turned out better than i had hoped.  oh and did i mention we used all scrap wood, so it was FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!  we worked on it during nap time or at night.  so it took way longer than we thought, but with some help from glen finishing it up was a breeze!
it's so awesome.  so because of the fabric cubby we built,  i was inspired to organize my craft space. it's still a bit un-organized, but i'm still working on it.
the paintings on the teal bookshelf are all from BRASIL.  i got them on my mission.  i want to get them framed and hung on the wall.  i need to dig through some more boxes and get all my patterns out and put them in a basket.  all the embroidery hoops on the wall were thrifted and then just scraps of fabric.  the teal star on the wall was free scrap wood.  the yellow magnet board was at a used home supply store for $1.  i painted it yellow and put the rolled tin (from home depot) on it.  the bulletin board is just covered in fabric.
(i made that for ULIE to use when she was here.  i made the burlap banner for valentine's day, but liked it enough to use it all the time.
anyways, i still have a ways to go, but i love when it's going.

thanks AMY for helping me.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Super cute! I love seeing what you do with all of the cuteness. Tell Amy that I need her here with all of her get up and go-ness to help me.
