slickity slack, SLACKER

once again, slacking from the blog.  it'll get better....

HARNEY COUNTY FAIR & "RADIO"(rodeo)
last night we took vince (nancy kindly watched mckee at home) to the FAIR!
oh county fair, I LOVE YOU!!
the fair is hilarious.
i love seeing everyone dressed up like cowboys and cowgirls.  (even those that you know, just purchased everything that week at the BIG R or D and B!)
i love the starched shirts and ironed wranglers.
i love the scary goth kids that walk in your way and want you to comment on their blue and hot pink hair, and the nasty ring hanging from their nose.
i love the face painted children that have so much paint on that you can't recognize them.
i love the creepy ice cream guy who drives his truck down the most crowded street of the fair, in hopes that some little kid will bug his mother enough to purchase a way overpriced ice cream cone, that ends up plopping to the ground and getting covered in dirt.
i love the pig barn and seeing people react to the grunting and oinking and stinking made from the pigs.
i love the talent show stage that has an ongoing performance of some woman in a shirt with howling wolves and full moons playing some windpipes and singing some folk song!  that's the best.
i love taking your kid to the carnival and letting him ride the rides that you paid triple for what they are worth!
i love EVERYTHING about the fair.

he wanted to drive the airplane like PAPA does

we also watched the rodeo and that was fun.  a few of the cowboys were wearing glen's chaps.  also the 2010 rodeo queen was wearing the chaps glen built for her.
i'm married to talent.

you are a SLACKER...not! You captured the fair with perfection except for the greasy funnel cakes. I love those headbands. I keep seeing them in photo version but in upclose so don't know how easy they are to make! I'd love you if you made a tutorial, or just email me how you make them. Vince will get the potty thing. Hang in there. I hear cheerios are fun targets to hit.
