look at that...catching up again.

so october has come and is almost gone.  crazy how fast fall has come upon us and it's quickly turning to winter!
things in our october have not slowed down at all.
we've had plenty of adventure this month.
we're excited to get ready for halloween.  the boys are going to be mustang football players.  i made them little jerseys!  i thought it was such a great idea...and then i got to work and what a pain in the butt.  what was i thinking.  next year it's store bought costumes for me. when vince tried his on, he immediately told me to take it off of him. great, i'm glad i could spend 3 hours making you this little shirt and you hate it.  great!

in other news.  mckee has been to the hospital/ER twice in the last 3 weeks.  he woke up both mornings really struggling to breath.  he was acting really funny, so i took him to the clinic and they admitted him to the hospital.  we spent the day doing breathing treatments and just watching cartoons.  he was doing great, then on sunday he did the same thing only worse.  so to the ER we went!  fun fun day.  shots, blood, rsv tests, x-rays in crazy torture positions....such a fun day.  McKee was a trooper.  He did good.  By about 3 that afternoon he was filling better.  We're doing breathing treatments here at the house.  The doc doesn't think it's asthma (which i'm glad he doesn't have anything) but it leaves me nervous if it happens again.  poor little boy.

mike & september had their reception.  it was really nice.  joyce and september decorated and it was really cute.  vince loves mike and september.  he talks about them all the time!  anytime he can hang out with them he does.

we had some friends over the other night and we carved pumpkins.  vince thought it to be the greatest day of his life.  he got to use a sharpie marker and write on things other than paper.  and then he got to use a knife!  what an evening.  i certainly thought we would find some fingers, noses, or even eyeballs amongst the pumpkin goo, but we did not.  thank goodness.  why is it kids love dangerous.  it's their favorite.  anyways we had a good night and vince was very proud of his "pupkin" with a "happy face!"

we headed to the forest to get wood for nancy and richard.  it was a nice warm day.  i'm a total weenie and couldn't really lift much.  i thought i had mom-muscles but they must have escaped me or something.  but the boys had a good time running around!

i decorated my porch for fall/halloween.  i love this time of year.
