long time gone....

holy smokes.  where have we been? 
BUSY!
i had a craft bazaar to get ready for, so my house has been trashed, my children have been movie junkies, and my husband has been lost. 
we had a GREAT thanksgiving.  did i take any pictures....NO.  (wasn't thinking)
we did a combined BOWNS/WAGSTAFF (dad/mom) thanksgiving. 
it was great.  we had a football game at the highschool that morning.  and a basketball game at the hs that night.
the next day we were all DYING. 
{old people should not exert a lot of energy when no in shape}
we were all so SORE.  so friday we decided to work off our sore muscles beating down other women at JOANNS for some flannel fabric for my mom. 
we went and visited glen's sister and her husband and boys.  that was nice.  i went to town with her to get some christmas gifts for her family.  when we got home the MEN went out shopping. 
then we had a great meal that evening.
on saturday we headed home to make it to the CRANE vs. PERRYDALE football game. 
heartbreaker.  they lost by 2 at the buzzer.  tough night. 
mike & september went with us.  we at at RED ROBIN so that made it better. (almost)
now we're back in the swing of things.  i've been working on some projects for myself and other people. 
yesterday was a beautiful day so we put up some lights and christmas decor. 
i love this time of year.

the other day the boys were really wanting to do something and just whining and it was freezing outside so i gave them their halloween bags of candy and set the timer and let them EAT and EAT and EAT. 
it worked....i had peace and SILENCE for about 5 minutes.
i just had a huge mess after...

some of our friends at church gave VINCE a new "church coat" and a bow tie.  vince has been DYING for a "church coat" and so it totally made his day.  he insisted on wearing it the entire day, and then the entire next day as well.
