well, our babe is finally here and boy are we happy with the results. he was born may 3, 2008 at 1:56 am. He was 8 lbs 6 oz and was 21 inches long. it was a long process for him to get here but we are glad that he is here safe and sound. we are already having lots of fun with him. he's already jumped on the trampoline, played fetch with zeplin (randy's dog), and he's currently on a major weight lifting program with his dad! he already has big enough muscles to whoop his uncle randy (who is 21 yrs of age by the way) and he's pretty charming as well.
his entrance was a grand one (you all can have the clean short and sweet version)
i was admitted to the hospital on friday may 2 around 10:30 am. the doc broke my water and stripped my membranes around 12:30 that noon. around 4:00 i got an epidural (best money we've ever spent) and then around 10:00 that night i was finally dilated to a 10! So needless to say I thought "oh, we'll have a baby in about an hour or so" (i guess i'm not that educated about the birthing process and my body) because finally after pushing every (i'd say) 3 minutes until 1:56 am (sat may 3) he came into the world. the doc had to use the vaccum on his little head so it cam out a bit coned shaped but it was back to normal within the hour. so there you have it...the easy version...of his grand entrance!
we are so happy that he is here with us and that he will be ours FOREVER! it's crazy to think we are now a FAMILY! we have a baby! WOW!

He is such a handsome boy... So precious and sweet. I heard you were a real trooper and it payed off.. I found it funny with your blurb that he looks older in the one photo, One of my friends baby boy was started showing his attitude at 1 month and was able to hold his head up about at about 2 1/2 months, so don't be surprised if you little bundle of joy in more advanced then you thought. They have to be made strong these days. Love Ya!
