today vince is 6 months. yeah! and he even sleeps all through the night. yeah! what more could i want? not much really!!! in celebration of his birthday i thought i'd let you know some random facts about vince.....
1. he's is a big talker....loves to call out to his mom and dad
2. he's loving the football season...he was just named player of the week for crane high school
3. shrimp cocktail is his new favorite food
4. he loves to watch myth busters
5. and last but not least he just learned to ride with no training wheels.
he's growing up so fast!!!
since we live so close to the school i've been using the nice track every day to go running. today was the first cold day that we've had since being here so i bundled vince up and off we went. it's fun to take him in the stroller...he loves it. he's totally an outside kind of kid because when i finish and bring him in he always gets mad. on the warm days i've just left him outside for a bit.
things are going good here. we had a small mishap with our washing machine. on saturday afternoon i was working on some bills on the computer and i decided i wanted some lunch...so i ran into the kitchen to find that my feet were soaking wet. (our laundry room is just off our kitchen) my washing machine had over flowed and there was water everywhere. i got every single towl in my house and started mopping it up. what a pain. (the good thing was my floor is super clean) but anyways what happened was the the electrical switch that tells the washer that it's full so the water needs to shut off short circuited...so it just kept filling up...yeah so a guy is going to be fixing it today...he had to order a part so i've had to wait...and the laundry pile keeps getting bigger and bigger...the joys of laundry.....love them! but i'm glad that there was a guy so close that knows how to fix things like that!!!!
other than that all is going well. my family might come and visit this weekend which will be fun. my dad is having major vince withdrawls....so it will be fun to see them. right now my mom and the girls are in seaside, or at an OASC conference.

katie is running for the OASC President and sammy is running for Eastern Rep. i hope they get the spots they want. i'll find out this afternoon.

Oh how I MISS you! All three of you. Definitely share pics of your house because I'm sure it's darling! Also, love hearing updates on your genius child and of course about you and Uncle Glen. Sorry about your washing machine-ours takes FOREVER to fill up when it's a cold load...I'm thinking it might have to be replaced sometime soon, but we'll get by as long as we can!
And, when do you want to do Brette's shower? I'll call you later tonight or tomorrow. Love you!
