so we had a great weekend. my family came and that was so fun. and of course
i'm a dork and didn't take many pictures. it was fun. we went to the football game, ate great food, watched movies, and just talked. it was a nice weekend. they stayed until
sunday afternoon. on
monday we went with
nancy and
richard to the forest and got wood. it was nice to go to the forest but getting wood isn't exactly my cup of tea. it's a hard job and with just the 4 of us, sometimes 3 because i was taking care of
vince...it was a lot of work. glen and
richard worked the saws all day and me and
nancy moved the rounds of wood and then we all helped load the trailer full. we got a great load, so it will keep
nancy and
richard toasty warm for
at least a month or so. so i am glad we went, i just think next time they don't need to go do all the work...it's too much for them. anyways it was a nice
vetran's day.
vince @ the game!
vince's first time in the forest.

grandma
adams and
vince
glen and "the wild thing"
today it's been raining all day. it's dark and gloomy. i ran to town this morning and then i went to meet glen at the miller's for lunch. linda is so nice and fed me too! then i came home and i've been using up leftovers to make dinner and some treats.
leftover pumpkin=pumpkin chocolate chip cookies
taco meat + velveta cheese=some type of casserole
old apples= apple bread...sooooo good.
{i'm sure glen will be thrilled that i made a bunch of sweet treats.}
i'll just give them away to our neighbors!!
okay well i hope tomorrow is a brighter day.

Wow, you guys worked your butts off! The treats make any man happy, right?
so now you gotta pass along the pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe! Apple bread too - that sounds yummy.
I am totally jealous again. I wish I could have helped you but kids do make it hard. Good job on working so hard and getting so much done. Wow Glen is sure looking trim isn't he? Seriously, You all must work out. :)
