this weekend started out like any other weekend with a trip to the e.r. yes that's right the emergency room. glen was out shoeing his horse, he had the nail almost in and wamm-o the horse jerked his foot and ran the nail through glen's fingers. the pointer finger was okay...just ripped the skin loose but then his middle finger was gashed open pretty good. he got a finger full of stitches at the e.r.
vince wasn't feeling too well at the hospital either and so he decided to puke all over me and all over the clean hospital floor. great friday night!
then glen had a branding on saturday. he bandaged up his fingers and wore a clean glove and tried it out. he said he didn't rope to well. i thought he did pretty good. but it was a pretty day for a branding. a bit of wind, but the sun was warm.
today has been a beautiful day. this afternoon we went out with glen and fed the horses, put out mineral block for the cows, doctored a calf that lost her mom, and put a cow back in the right field. we got some great pictures of the water and some birds. it was a fun day.
i know aunt terry and uncle craig will appreciate these!
vince was given this bouncy/rocky horse thingy. we put him on it on the way into the house and he loved it. he was bouncing and shaking and rocking it himself. it was pretty funny!

The pictures of Glen's hand make me feel sick to my stomach, and I thought I had a pretty strong stomach! blaah! Hope he is feeling better soon. I love the pictures of the water and the birds, How lucky you are to be able enjoy the great out doors so close to your home. Just out of your windows. aaah I miss that.
OUCH! Glen's poor fingers, that had to hurt, big time! Hope things are going better in Adam's home! Pretty pictures too!
Poor Glen that had to hurt. Vince is so cute, where'd you get one of those so low to the ground? Hope everything else is going okay and that both your boys are doing better!!
