vince hung out in his stroller for some of the day. we chilled in the shade {that was still really hot} we ate lots of popsicles and drank lots of water.
glen was in the team branding with 3 different teams. he did a great job roping.

the team branding has 2 parts. there are 4 people on the team. 2 ropers and 2 ground-guys. the 2 ropers have to head and heel the calf, the ground guys have to go and pull the calf down, fix the ropes {so the calf is stretched} and then "paint"brand the calf, then let it up and you have to do that to 4 calves. after the first 2 are done you switch places with your team members. here's glen and wit on the ground. glen is "paint" branding the calf.
it was so dry and dusty. vince was "caked" in dirt.
vince was playing out on the porch this morning so i got a few pictures of him. i know i'm biased but i think he's pretty cute.

It's ok to think your own kid is cute. But it sure feels good when someone else thinks so! Denise, he is SO cute! Those bright blue eyes with that adorable smile with that bleach blond hair. A-DOR-A-BLE!
sounds like a great day! and even though you are biased, you are still right... your kid is CUTE! i love the pics of him. i hope i get to meet him some day. it seems like some of his personality comes through the pics and i want to see if i'm right or not! :)
