a long catch up post.

so we've been running around around and around. so much is going on yet i feel like i do so little. here's what we've been doing in no particular order.

vince had a nasty cold...but he was still happy with his tractor hat from papa bowns.

throwing a few fits. it's always fun to watch.

this is vince's new favorite hat. he puts this on and runs around the house saying "oh-boy!"

his new favorite toy. a grape juice box from costco. our christmas this year is going to be so easy...just give him boxes.

see how happy he is.

wanting to go with dad....always.

poutty vince.

the best boys in the world and they belong to me.

I've been working on a lot of different projects and here are some pictures of them.
this is an old frame that i painted and strung wire...then i hung old BOWNS family photos of my nana and bampa.

tiz and i canned apple pie filling. we've already tried a jar and it's excellent.

i finally filled my hutch with some things.

fall decorating has started. i love fall.

my book club just read a japanese story so we had a japanese party complete with sushi and miso soup and lots of other japanese things. it was so fun.

i had extra apples so i canned plain apples. they're good too.

i've been sewing some and made some bibs out of some of my "cowboy" fabric. i'm going to sell them at the Adrian School Christmas Bazaar in November.

i'm making these vintage stockings too. i haven't decorated them yet..but today my mom is coming up to help me do that. we're going to decorate them with ribbon and buttons. Also selling these at the Christmas Bazaar

oh my gosh i made these Amish Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls with Carmel Icing from this website. TO DIE FOR SO SO GOOD.

glen's been doing some leather work...here's a gun holster that he carved, tooled, and stained. it's really cool.

but yes, that's what we've been up too. lots going on. we're all healthy and happy and we're excited for the holidays to come!!!!

We can't stop laughing about him saying "Oh boy!" Hahaha dang kid. Those pumpkin cinnamon rolls look so so so good. Yummm. I'm in bed with the flu or else I'd get up and make them right now. I'm glad you like my hair. It needs colored really bad, but I got it cut about 2 weeks ago and that was about all we could afford.
