i like NASCAR

NASCAR is no longer for the whitetrash...it's now for the ADAMS family. We had early church today so we spent the afternoon outside at Grandpa and Grandma Adams' house. If any of you have ever been to Grandpa and Grandma Adams' house you know that they have a ton of hats on the hat rack. Well they have this one hat. It's a NAPA nascar racing hat. This hat has been put in the trash several times {by glen and i} only to find itself right back on the hat rack. This hat has been put in the BURNING burn barrel {by glen and i} only to find itself {mysteriously} back on the hat rack. And now {LUCKY glen and I} this hat has found a PERMANENT spot on our son's head. What can i say....WE LOVE NASCAR!!!

life for us is moving along. glen just got a job with the FSA {farm service agency} being a government job...the paperwork is crazy. list all the places you've lived in the last 5 years {we've lived in 10 different homes} list all the jobs you've had in the last five years {5 different jobs or so} list 5 people who "know you well" list any illegal drug use, the time frame of usage, and an explanation of why you were using {maybe i was addicted}. but yeah you get the hint. crazy. so he's been fingerprinted, background checked, and now has to fill out all this paperwork. but we're very grateful that he has landed a good job. it's in town, so we're looking for a place closer to live. yes, that means we'll be moving {AGAIN} i love it so much.

we're going to my home for a visit this weekend. my cousin Chelsey is getting married to a very cute kid {he's in the navy} Jake. we're excited to get to go see them get married and go see everyone. all my siblings except Stevie {in San Francisco who we'll miss a ton} will be there so it will be a FULL bowns house. Ahhh, but a FULL bowns house means a FUN bowns house.

as for all of that, life is good. spring is right around the corner and we're looking forward to the time change and having more daylight. that's all for us.
