another year...hoping to be wiser.

on monday, VALENTINE'S day...i had a birthday.  29 years old.  it was a great birthday. i share my birthday with my twin brother j.d. of course...and also with one of glen's best friends.  so him and his family came over and we had "cafe rio" food and ice cream cake.  vince loved the cake and candles.  he sang to me beautifully!

a few days after my birthday i received a wonderful gift.  we woke up to this....

so mckee is totally moving now.  he's walking all over...a bit wobbley, but he's getting everywhere!  the other night he must have been hungry.  i was in the living room reading a book and then i heard some noise...didn't pay much attention until i heard laughter and yells.  he sure loves his cheerios!

so ULIE is officially a MUSTANG!  she got her letterman jacket.  pretty cool!

we made it over to my parents house for a quick day trip.  glen bought a pickup and a flatbed and he was fixing the flat bed to put on the pickup.  he worked in the shop all saturday and we just played in the snow (they got a huge snow storm friday night) and just hung out with everyone.  vince had a good time with uncle randy on the 4-wheeler.  he built a snowman with "mano" and he played guns and toys all day.  it was a quick trip because we had to get home for sunday...but it was fun to see everyone!

so we've been stuck inside some more because of all the snow and wind.  vince has been quite bored.  so yesterday i let him wash dishes.  he ran around the house and grabbed random objects and pulled stuff from the dishwasher.  he washed and washed and i'm sure ran out of hot water like 5 times.  it kept him busy for about an hour.  he finished up and came in the living room with me.  when i went into the kitchen later...this is what i found.

tomorrow is ULIE's birthday.  we're busy today making cupcakes and wrapping presents! 

it's still snowy and cold so another day inside.  both the boys have colds...so we are snotty and coughy all over the place.  it's now 10:20 am and they have already bathed 3 times and watched 4 episodes of BLUE's CLUES!  can you guess what kind of day it will be?
