days go by....

so this week has really flown by fast. yesterday i went out with glen for awhile. i couldn't ride because i chose to wear shorts and flip-flops in the sweltering heat, but that's okay. i enjoyed the sunshine and a book while he gathered cows. i helped catch the horses in another pasture...that was my job. it was fun. on my way home i ran to the post office (we didn't get anything) but i did find 2 turtles on the road. so i put them in my car and let them go in the pasture by our house. i figure the pasture is better than the road with lots of cars!

today has been a very hot day. i feel bad that glen's been working out in the sun all day. i'm sure he'll be very tired tonight. i've been doing yard work most of the day. i crafted for a little bit this morning. i've had this piece of paper (the flower background paper) sitting around for a long time. i covered a chip board and added some pictures. it's very "valentine" but i like it. i think it will be cute displayed with a cute easel.

i sure hope the weather cools down for glen's sake. we have a little more than a week left here in Nebraska. we are very excited to head to oregon. we can't wait to see our families!
