lots going on!

well today was a very full day. i feed Glen and Myron breakfast at 8:00. i made them bacon and eggs and then some harvest bread. (recipe courtesy of my BYU-I roommate Heather Ford) then i decided to sew a little bit. i made these cute aprons. i think they are super cute and hip. i like them.

during the time i was sewing i was also making lunch for the guys! i made "chalupa" it's pretty much mexican beans and meat. then you eat it like a taco salad. it was pretty good. it needed more flavor...so next time i make it, i'm going to add something more to it.
while lunch was cooking i went to the neighbors and watered their yard and flowers. they are on a trip to Utah so i volunteered to water their yard. they let me drive their 4-wheeler back and forth so i don't have to use my car. that's a lot of fun. i love riding 4-wheelers.

i went to see Glen today while he was working. at lunch he told me about a cow that had a sore eye...and it must have itched really bad because the cow scratched it out on the fence. i wanted to see it. i even got a picture of it. i hope it's not to gory for you. i also saw my favorite calve of the bunch. this little cave is white with brown spots...or brown with white spots...what ever you want to think...but i think it's so so cute.

anyways, it was a cooler day with sun, so that was good. i've been watering our yard as well. it's looking really nice and green. i really need to mow it though. it's getting really long.....
ohh and something i'm really excited about...i ordered a new swim suit today. a little spendy but Glen said I could get it. yes, i can't wait to get it. here's a pic of it.....(it's the red stipe one)

Hi Denise...

Glen has good taste in swim suits!

Your flower pics are refreshing and make up for the poor itchy eyed cow picture.

You show a bit of your inclination to adventure with the self photo on the the bright yellow four wheeler. It is becoming to you.

And of course your talent is on display with those pretty aprons. You're good and creative.

I can see all those cows on the hills in the distance and they make my eyes feel good.

This is a very good posting. Thanks Denise.

Love...

Deniser,

Love the pics and the post. You are becoming such a homemaking queen! Can't wait till you're here next week and I can swap recipes with you. It sounds like you make a ton of yummy stuff. And, we'll have to have several scrapbooking nights.

We should all go riding 4-wheelers together too. Always love that. Gross cow pics, but not too close up, so wasn't too bad. Love you and can't wait to see you!
