the fabric i'll be using in my bathroom!
this is going to be the shower curtain
this is going to be my window curtain
i'm going to be using the cowboy fabric for tabs on my red/star window curtain
and red/star tabs on my cowboy shower curtain. i hope it all turns out the way i'm envisioning it.
i'm going to go with blue rugs and bright yellow bath towels. i want to use a bit of brown in there too, so i might do brown decor. i didn't want anything cowboy cliche...so i went with cowboy cute.
i'm excited because my mom and sisters are coming this weekend and mom is bringing her serger so she's going to help me. next week i'm going to go home for a couple of days and we're going to get fabric for my living room/kitchen curtains (i can't wait for that either) so i'll be sewing a bit (and my mom's going to help me). it'll be nice to get the house feeling like we live here!!! (curtains do that you know)
anyways, we also had our first mishap with vince. poor kid had a rough day today. first i took him in to get caught up on his shots. yeah we were 3 months behind because i don't like to see or hear vince cry because of pain. he did great. hardly cried.
then, (about the mishap) poor kid fell off the couch. glen was watching him and he was sitting back in the corner of the couch and leaned forward like he's done a bunch of times, only this time he went a bit too far. poor kid cried and cried. i hope it scared him more that it hurt him. but he got a fat little lip.
his little lip was bloody and purple. and his nose looks a bit red/bruised.

other than that our day has been a good snowy one. we got snow most of the day and we're still getting it.

Ah, poor Vince but you are doing really good! By the time Hyrum was that age he had fallen off the couch a couple of times. He'd also fallen all the way down the stairs and gotten a couple of black eyes just from various little bumps. I am a terrible mother. But I really do watch my children.
I love the fabric! can't wait to see it all done and up in the bathroom, I think it will look really good!
sorry about Vince, I am sure the soreness after the shots made him cry a bit longer than he usually would have too... good thing they are resilient, I have thought that many times!
